Description
The OEM crank sprocket comes with a rough finish and can fatigue from stress risers, hence compromising the integrity of the part. In our experience with racing these engines we have found OEM sprockets to have considerable wear on the edges of the teeth and in some cases, chipped teeth. We have tested these parts after Micropolish and found the wear rate to be drastically reduced and improve the life of the timing chain.
