Well now it’s a reality with the BSD Revolution v1.5 Hub with the new upgraded v1.5 spring loaded clutch. *This is the new female axle version of the hub* At the core of the system is the Planetary Clutch Mechanism, a compact, innovative clutch that replaces the traditional heavy cone-style clutch with a lightweight assembly.
This advanced mechanism enables immediate pedal engagement with virtually zero pedal gap, while eliminating unwanted engagement during fakie manoeuvres. Utilizing the Planetary clutch system that functions in a unique and revolutionary way, the BSD Revolution hub eliminates many of the problems associated with the heavyweight traditional cone style clutch design.
